About Thom
After having graduated from Pepperdine University with a degree in music, I became a commercial actor in Hollywood, then decided on the more peaceful career of commercial television casting (yeah right), and found refuge in a new toy: a camera. I began with a love of shooting my mom's rose garden, and because during the day I spent countless hours looking at endless headshots of actors I started realizing most people needed new ones, and voila! A new career was born. Shortly after I began shooting I had the opportunity to begin traveling around the world on the mission field and became a missions photographer. This is an area of photography that I especially have a passion for. Seeing life, color and creation through the lens of my camera in so many different places around the world has been one of my greatest privileges. I am a west coast native having lived half of my life in a Lake Oswego, Oregon, a suburb of Portland, and the other half in many areas of Los Angeles from Malibu, to Pasadena, to Hollywood, to Santa Monica.
